Australian filmmaker Emma Jefferson is a passionate, aspiring director who has recently completed her master’s degree in filmmaking at the London Film Academy, selected as the 2024 LFA Emerging Filmmaker of the Year. With a particular affiliation for dark comedy, The Shift (2024) is Emma's first short film after experimenting with short-form content and working in theatre before transitioning to directing film.
